Volume 2 is a live recording with Rudy Rexx accompanying me on live percussion. A heavy Afro-Latin vibe as always, with music from Brazil, Puerto Rico, U.S, and Colombia.

One of the benefits of playing with a live percussionist is the different approach I take to playing and mixing songs which creates a different experience for the listener/dancer. There’s less cutting and backspinning to keep a steady rhythm for the live percussion to shine. A great listen that any music head can enjoy.

If you are in Austin you can catch Rudy Rexx and myself live at Austin Vida’s Barrio Bash. This will probably be our last set for a couple months, so in the meantime enjoy Clásico volume 2.

The only condition:

“We would absolutely love to see everything you can possibly come up with! the only condition: overall theme should be SPRING and/or ANIMALS and/or POSITIVITY.”

The winner gets two custom-made versions Apicaco and Copenhagen – both in mp3 format and 10″ vinyl dubplate. And if you so happen to reside in a city where they will be playing, they will come by your house, cook dinner and do the dishes (seriously).
