Back from Miami with a ton of inspiration from our participation in Redull’s Siempre Fresco event. We caught some footage while we were jamming with all the leaders of the Latin underground, while we prepare that though, here’s a recap of the events that took place in Miami from Remezcla. It was an amazing opportunity to work with salsa legend Larry Harlow and Marlow Rosado. It was also a pleasure to see all the hommies again!
So much music was created for this project and we can’t wait to release it. In the meantime, however, here’s two mixes that were made leading up the the events in Miami. First up is El Dusty with a heavy hitting mix that starts off with his new single to be released very soon!
Next is my mix, Orión, starts out old school Salsa and gets a clubby towards the end. Some whistle while you work bizness.
I met a bunch of dope producers while I was in Miami MLKMN, Evdi, Happy Colors, Otto Von Siracha to name a few. I want to make a proper post on these cats so stay tuned for that. Next week I’ll put up Dj Manny’s Siempre Fresco mix and the Radio Peligros #6 is in the works by one of our favorite New York djs. Not to mention we have Venus X at the next Peligrosa in Austin (3rd Fridays @ Empire still). Oh and if you haven’t read the aforementioned Remezcla article you’ll see that I’ve been working on starting the record label. Cat’s out of the bag, but yeah that’s the reason for the slim posting as of late. As soon as that up and running I’ll be all up in your faces about it.
