The Resurrection Project’s Pilsen Summer Gathering: Music, Art, Food, and FUN! – “Celebrating Community Empowerment though Peace, Education and Social Justice.”

“Unísono:” is an annual summer cultural celebration hosted by The Resurrection Project (TRP). Taking place in Chicago’s Pilsen community, Unísono promotes cultural diversity, higher education, and social justice. In 2012, The Resurrection Project will be celebrating this festival’s 10th anniversary!

This year we have gone to a whole new level. We have brought in super high-end staging and asked Richard Morales owner of RATIOnation.com (producers of Mundialdemusica.com Festival) to curate and produce this award winning concert line-up.

“Unísono” Festival 2012 will highlight TRP’s La Casa project: A live and learn multi university dormitory, which will house 105 Students in the fall of 2012. La Casa will be Chicago’s first affordable, off-site, student housing development and will feature resources to promote educational success of, in many cases first generation, college students. La Casa packages student housing and resources for the opportunity of a brighter future – now that’s something to celebrate!

The Unísono After Party will start promptly after the festival at a special Pilsen Location to be revealed Soon! (21+ event)
