In all the years that we’ve been doing Tormenta Tropical, Texas has always been a reliable source for hot new sounds. For whatever reason, the Lone Star state continue to produce amazing hybrids that combine traditional Latin flavors with speaker-rattling hip-hop and electronic beats. Cumbia crunk has always livened the Tormenta Tropical dancefloor in a hurry, and now we have CHINGO BLING, one of that world’s hottest MCs, coming to perform live at the party.

Straight out of Houston, CHINGO BLING aka CANCUN SHAWTY brings a real Texan swagger to his Latin-flavored rap tunes. We saw him in action at this year’s SXSW, and knew that we had to bring him out to California to work his magic.

Of course, Bersa Discos bossmen and Tormenta Tropical residents SHAWN REYNALDO and ORO11 will be in the house and dropping bombs of their own on the dancefloor. Expect plenty of cumbia, tribal, dancehall, and more. Things are bound to get wild.
