You may know Geko Jones from New York’s infamous Que Bajo?! parties, you may know Geko Jones from the number of times he has visited Austin to funk out with Peligrosa, you may know Geko Jones as the caring and compassionate Puertolombian as we grown to know him, but regardless of weather you know him or not, by the end of June 15th you will not forget him. He is a musical anthropologist, an ethnomusicologist of sorts, versed in numerous Cultures, styles and rhythms from Gaita, Cumbia and Merengue to Chutney, Soca and Dancehall Geko is one the leading figures in promulgating the lifestyles of today’s Latino and Latina through his music and his discourse with today’s pop culture and we’re excited he’s returning to Peligrosa!
